If you want to soothe it then open wide, throw your head back and squeeze the honey out of the bottle straight down your throat. This will soothe your throat if it's scratchy and irritated. I do it every time I get sick with a sore throat and I can't stand that clorospetic spray it taste awful.

you could eat it raw
lots of ppl do that
i normally put it n some kind of tea

Tea with lemon and honey is great.

You can eat it by itself, it works well...especially for coughs.

Put it in some hot tea. Use this in place of sugar. It's very soothing for a sore throat.

Hot tea, honey and lemon are awesome for sore throats and coughs. Hope you feel better soonest!!!

Actually, I though honey was better for coughs. You just take it straight for coughs. Putting it in hot water with some fresh squeezed lemon juice may help. My mom always had us gargle with warm salt water when we had sore throats, and it does help.

put it in tea and add some lemon too. All three of those things are naturallt soothing to the throught. You could also gargle some salt water.

some warm tea with honey and lemon is a great immune booster. try dipping the spoon in the honey and squeezing lemon over it. this will sooth your throat.

You can mix it with hot tea or raw.

Hot water and or hot tea

Hello,
Eat it raw and it will coat your throat.

I put it in everything LOL!

U should put it in warm milk. Bt to be honest with u, I find strepsils much more effective.

just put some on a spoon and swallow it

the honey coats your throat...i don't think it will work as well diluted

You can eat it raw or you can mix it with a hot drink like tea. Opt for a hot drink so the honey won't be as think. Or you can eat a tablespoonful raw. You can also mix a few drops of lime juice with the honey and this will help your throat even more.

Honey mixed with lemon juice (not too runny, add the lemon a bit at a time) and suck it off the spoon frequently. It helps.

Hot herbal tea with honey is great, but you might want to drink it when it is just barely warm if your throat is really sore.

It wont make you well and it wont hurt you. But it is good on toast and in hot tea.

It is honey and lemon dear . You take 3 tbs of lemon juice and add a tbs of honey and microwave it for about 25 seconds let it cool a little and sip it down . If you are 21 or even 18 add 1 shot of whiskey this will help your throat and wipe out a cough .

traditionally mixed with fresh lemon juice and swallowed, or allowed to slide down the throat to coat it.

I had the following recipe given to me, and it honestly works even better: 1 part white vinegar, 2 parts lemon juice, 3 parts honey.

I also like to mix honey and lemon juice w/ boiling water as a hot drink in the winter.

Honey won't really help a sore throat. Something with a numbing effect (like menthol drops or chloroseptic) will reduce the pain. Any cough drop or hard candy that you suck on will help reduce a cough, and may help keep your throat moist which will help it feel better, but a hard candy will work better and longer than honey will.

Nothing alcoholic. best to mix it with lemon juice. Vitamin C in the lemon juice kills cold germs. Honey coats and sooths.
If you try to use alcohol by the time you consume enough to affect the cold germs it will kill you.

MIX ONE TBSP HONEY WITH HALF TBSP BLACK PEPPER POWDER AND LICK IT MANY TIMES A DAY YOUR THROAT WILL BE TREATED.USE THIS MIX ONLY ONE TIME PREPARE OTHER ONE TO BE USED AT DIFFERENT TIME.

Honey and vinegar is an old remedy for sore throats and coughs.

Depending on how much you want to make ... I would put one part vinegar to 2 parts honey.

The vinegar cuts the phlem and the honey coats and makes the vinegar palatable.

Do a search on vinegar sometime ... it's amazing what you can use it for. Good luck and God bless ... hope you feel better real soon.

P.S. Don't forget to gargle with salt water too!

its best w/ hot tea....but you could always eat it plain (not too much though)
