My question not long posted?!

Question: about drugs, som1 said i seem proud of wat i do. there wrong. i think a question like mine can bring answers t som1 not wanting t ask. i think alot of people dont understand wat an addiction is, and how easy it is t fall into the clutches of an addiction, but how difficult it is to get out of. i think the people who dont understand folks like myself ashouldnt judge or assume, they should want to understand, coz 1 day for sure som1 close will be addicted t somthing probly already is,and there years of ignorance will not help, understanding wen u dont need to, will surely bring joy t u and others somtime in the future.

Most peeps have an addiction of some sort whether its smoking, drink or whatever. An addiction is just that and not easy to get out of. I hope you are getting the help you want hun and good luck to you. If you really want to you CAN beat it with help. x

Bless ya hun. Have you been in touch with your doctor or an addiction team ? Your doctor will refer you to the relevent peeps. We have addiction teams up here. It's called BCAT. Get focused hun and you can beat it if you really want to. It WILL be hard but it depends how badly you want it. Stay safe anyway hun x

PS Sometimes when peeps are going through withdrawel it brings back all they wanted to forget and thats the hardest part to deal with. The hardest part is real life hun. xxxx

I have never ever used drugs or alcohol but one thing I do know is that it's hard to give up. I work with people that have addictions and I have seen them at their worst. If I can at any time help them I will.

Oh and another thing. My pal is an addict. He is wonderful. Just because he is an addict makes me love him no better or worse than I would anyone.

you might want to take a spelling class and then people will understand you better

Sorry man, lost the will to live halfway through your question due to the spelling and grammar.

i think your kind of right there, people shouldn't judge someone if they have any type of problem be that drugs, alcohol or mental,

Robert, as mentioned above....most everyone is addicted to something, whether there is willingness to admit it or not. I am addicted to work. I have friends that are addicted to play and they work only to support the play. I know people addicted to sex, fast cars, and on and on.

You want to change from your addiction. A few years ago, I read a book "How to Break Your Addiction to a Person". As I read it, it seemed the principles would help break any addiction. Perhaps you can find it on the net.

**** Luck!

Most of these drug workers are idoits in suites, you cant relate to them. We neec drug workers, who have been on drugs and came out on the other side.

Good on you buddy !! know what?? you really can do anything you put your mind to you know ....... you just have to want it sooo bad that you can taste it. i was addicted to alcohol and almost threw away my whole life until my husband to leave me and take away my kids!! that snapped me out of it , but the detox tremors nearly killed me. you know, i was almost going to pick up the bottle again after 4 days of detoxing and i was crying and my then 3 year old little girl was patting my back and crying because i was sweating profusely and shaking violently. she turned around and told me "Oh my God mama, i'm going to have to stay home from kindy and look after you my mama!!" Truly, it was like a light switching on in my brain ............... then and there i simply got over it and toughed it out. the power of the mind is truly unbelievable. as of that day there was no way i was going to let the booze beat me. i was determined to stick around for my 3 little angels and long suffering hubbie.

addictions are evil and suffocating things but if you can find the strength to reach inside you and fight it like a tiger i believe that each and every one of us is capable of beating them. good on you for being a kind and compassionate and loving soul ....... just start loving you a bit more and fighting back.
