Is it possible to overdose on pantothenic acid?!

Question: i've been thinking about buying some pantothenic acid ( i have pretty moderate acne on my back/shoulders and i heard it helps.) i would be buying bottles of 100 with a dose of 500 mg, i read somewhere that i would have to take 20 pills a day at that dose to get results at first, is that safe? i know its a water soluble vitamin but 20 pills a day of anything seems like alot. any insight would be appreciated.
thanks so much!

According to this web site
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/...
there are no known toxic effect except possible diarrhea.
Still that does seem like an awful lot. Maybe just start out with a few pills.
