Does meditation keep you awake?!


Question: Once i meditated before sleeping and i couldnt fall asleep until 4 am. was this a result of the meditation?

meditation should relax you and for some individuals they become less tired and thus full of energy ..so kept awake...on the other hand, you can get relaxed and have no problem falling asleep

keep doing the meditation at different time of the day & see if it makes a difference.

No, it should not keep you awake that long. It should relax your mind and body and you should have more enjoyable sleep i.e., you should wake up fresh and relaxed

It can keep you awake. It depends both on the type of meditation you are doing, and how you respond to that meditation. Try meditating in the morning instead and see what happens.
