What is the natural remedy to take away stress? I'm working in night shift.?!


Question: I work the night shift and have done so for 12 years. I do not have to tell you that it is not good for you, but i have tried different things over the years and have some recommendations for you.

For one start taking maca, you can get this from macaweb or therootofthematter.ca, they have good maca, it is good for endurance and mental energy. It is also good for the hormones.Take this everyday.

Take 2000mg of acetl lcarnitine and 500 to 1000mg of phosphatidylserine you can get these cheap from vitacost. If you can afford the alpha lipoic acid/acetyl lcarnitine combo get it. Take a good multivitamin with your b vitamins and keep a good eating schedule. Do not eat anytime of day, since you sleep in the daytime continue to try to eat on the same schedule as everyone else. I know it is hard, but it can be done.
Tyrosine is an amino acid that keeps you alert like caffeine but without the side effects. If you take any advice from me at least make sure that it is the multivitamin and acetyl carnitine and phosphatidylserine. Please stay away from the coffee, it will interfere with your sleep. Maybe one cup a day, but if you follow my advice you will not need it.

i think the remedy for stress is thinking of a happy place and that will make all your problems melt away and u can also think of good times u have had with friends, family and others dat might help ease awy the stress

as a taxi driver doing hungries and grave yards. when i got home i would walk. for a couple of hours though.

i wud have suggested sleep but most of the time night shifts require more alertness... so wat i do is have some coffee and surf the net...

what do you do in night shift...ive had experiance of workin in a night shift,its a strasnge world,totally differnet from dayshift or back shift.

u should have less stress on night shift because they are a differrent type of people. u have to get serenity and inner peace. stress is when u are at war with yourself or your surroundings.

Try Bach Rescue Remedy to relieve stress. It will take the edge off your tension but will not make you sleepy. Its brilliant when undertaking an exam or test.

Night work could be stressing you physically and psychologically as well.

I am completely unqualified to give advice about the changes to our circadian rhyme. See your doctor.

However, here are some ways that might help you mentally;
Do not feel sorry for yourself. Actually count your blessings.

Be grateful that you have health, training, work ethics etc. that motive you.

Ever thought where you would be without a job?

When you feel stress, make sure that it is not something else ,other than night work, that causes it. Deal with it.

What about giving yourself a smile and assuring yourself that you could be worse off?
