Have you ever had a Swedish massage?!

Question: What was it like?

Answers: What was it like?

Yes, I prefer a deep tissue massage, i like it hard. It can leave you sore, but. so good! and definatelly drink lots of water afterwards. If you haven't had one, get one, and absolutelly tip, and communicate with them, tell them what's good and what's not. they want to know so that they can earn a nice tip.

Heaven

No, not yet, but I want one. haha

I have had many Swedish style massages and they use a lot of kneading techniques, and you can get really sore after wards if your muscles are tense. They also advised me to drink several 8 oz. glasses of water after wards, due to the toxins that are released in your system.
As with any style massage, there are good and bad massages, due to the expertise of the masseur. Find a good one and keep them.

Yep.
Fabulous. The first time I was sore the next day but after that, it was pure heaven every time. Took all the kinks out of my neck and shoulders.

Yes, I use to tip her 20%

No.... Can you give them? ;)

xox

No,but I'd like one.....or two.....or three....or hmmmmmmm

No, where can I get one.....and if it works, definitely!

A Swedish massage can be wonderfully relaxing.
Your outcome will depend on what you tell your therapist you would like to focus on. If you go in and say I want to relax then you shouldn't be sore after. If you go in and say that you're having pain or stiffness, your therapist will work those areas harder and you may be a little sore.
The key is communication. If it hurts, say something.
A massage releases toxins stored in the muscles, so you should drink lots of water after.
You should tip your therapist at least 20%

Dont think so... Ive had massages but dont think one was swedish.....

Nope

never have

During my few dozen trips around the Sun on this planet, I have recieved a few hundred Swedish Massages.I have enjoyed almost every one of them and have reciprocated in kind to most of my theraspists. That means we traded massages.
A Swedish massage consists of long and short strokes providing pressure on muscle tissue, therefore releasing knots caused by tension and toxins.
Whereas it is beyond the scope of my practice to tell you to drink water, I do recommend that you do to give the toxins a ride out.
