I just bought my son some and it was about 8.50 for a small bottle. You get a cotton swab wet and then dab on a little tea tree oil and then use it as an antiseptic. Its also great for acne. You get it at the health food store.
3% hydrogen peroxide is far better at drying out infected wounds. Hold a sterile cotton swab of the liquid on the wound for several minute a few times a day.
You may also have metal allergies if its not gold.
