The olive leaf is a true antiviral compound. It has the ability to interfere with critical amino acid production of viruses: it can cintain viral infection by inactivating viruses through preventing virus budding or assembly: and it has the ability to penetrate infected cells and stop viral replication there. Olive leaf extract is also effective against antibiotic-resistant bacteria, yeast strains, and fungi that produce conditoxin and other microtoxins that contribute to chronic fatigue and immune dysfunction syndromes. It is also effective against parasites, both protozoa and worms.
It is used for fibromyalgia and chronic faigue syndrome, heart disease and high blood pressure, herpesvirus infection and yeast infection.
It is available in capsule form. recommended dosage is 1-2 capsules totaling 250-500 mg, daily for preventive purposes. For treating symptoms, the recommended dosage varies with the severity of the disease. Some individuals have reported rapid relief from acute infections after taking 3 or more 500 mg capsules every 6 hours.
In some chronic cases, there may be a quick and somewhat adverse reaction commonly called a detox reaction. As your ody begins to deal with the dead microbes, the liver, kidneys, intestines, and skin may become over burdened. Some common reactions include fatigue, diarrhea, headaches,muscle/joint pain/aches, flu like symptoms, and rashes. These symptoms are actually a good sign, meaning the extract is working. To limit these symptoms, make sure to drink at least 4 glasses of water between doses. If they persist, stop takind it for a while or reduce the dose for a short time. That way your body can eliminate the dead microbes and toxins. The detox effect is only temporary.
People who have taken it for fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome have said they have recovered within a month of using it, with better mood, and more energy.
I have used it for some time. I have actually gotten rid of a dental infection using it. It will give you a headache when using it at this dose for an infection, but it will pass.
You can use the drie leaves to make a tea too. I'm not sure about using the leaves fresh. Just dry them and store them.

What do you mean by infusion? is it in the veins? if so, DO NOT DO THAT OR EVEN THINK ABOUT.

An infusion is how we make tea, by pouring boing water over dried leaves and drinking the result.

People say all sorts of infusions are good for you from green tea to flowers. No idea about olive leaves, but they also say the oil is good too, so maybe.
