Is intralase better than lasik?!

Question: Intralase was better for me. I had a high prescription, large pupils, astigmatism, one pupil sightly larger than the other from a sports injury and for me intralase was able to deal with all these things and still provide enough of a margin of error that if a follow-up "touch up" procedure was required there would be enough tissue left over to make that possible. With the lasik blade procedure this wasn't guaranteed. As it turned out no "touch up" was required.

It was a lot more money at the time when I had it done (almost 3 years ago) but with all of the other factors it was the best option for me. Depending on your situation, you may or may not need to spend the extra money on the intralase

I had mine done at the TLC Vision Center in Toronto if that helps. I would totally recomend them. They are pricey but at the time I had it done I felt like they were the best option for me as they were the only one's offering intralase in the area.

Jury is still out on that one.

Dunno, but i've had LASIK & it was the best money I ever spent on myself.

Lasik, to me, was the best thing I ever did.
Nothing can be better. Not even a hot fudge sundae and a massage at the same time.

intralase is the same as lasik but without the blade

"These procedures differ from one another in the way they prepare the surface of the cornea for the second step of LASIK. Epi-LASIK uses an epikeratome
