Yes it's the new year and I need some healthy advice???!

Question: I want to get back in shape with the good old eating right and exercise. Is there something safe I can take to lessen my hunger for a while? I can eat like a man and I know discipline is also necessary, but any safe appetite supressants I can use?

The safest thing to do is drink water. Studies have shown that people are actually thirsty about 50% of the time they eat food. So drink a 16 oz glass of water. IF after 20 minutes you are still hungry, then have a healthy snack.

The other thing that helps supress the appetite naturally is to make sure that you are getting the essential nutrients your body needs every day. Many are hungry because their body is still yearning for nutritional needs. Consider a full vitamin and mineral supplement (liquid is best).

You should drink water throughout the day, preferably non-chlorinated or flouronated. The best rule of thumb to meet your bodies' needs are take ? your weight in pounds and drink that amount of ounces (so a 110 lbs person should drink at least 55 oz, a 200 lbs person should drink 100 oz of water each day.)

Eat foods that are higher in fiber (they keep you full longer) and those that have high water contents (less calories with the same bulk). And try to measure out portions for a while, so you get to know what a real portion looks like, because that is where a lot of these things foul up. Those are the best appetite suppressants out there. And a picture of what you want to look like (realistically) taped to the fridge can help too.

alrgiht well celery is minus calories so you can always have celery and jsut basically eat the right amounts on the food pyramid which personally are a littel to small so if you feel sick dont not eat but eat healthy if you feel sick your not eating a enoguh so work out 30 to 60 minutes a day and eat proper amounts!

I would recommend yoga for your exercise and aromatherapy for appetite supressant. If you go to my website you'll find information for both yoga and aromatherapy. Click on any of the links on the aromatherapy page and it will bring you to another website that has some remedies to suppress your appetite:

The problem with any over the counter appetite suppressant is that it may work for a while then you will build a tolerance for it. Also the vast majority gain back the weight.
I prefer exercise. If I were you I would step that up and not worry so much about the diet at first. Make exercise and water a huge part of your life and the rest will follow.
