Has anyone here ever been to a Bowen therapist?!
Question: I was wondering what your experiences were? I've read a lot about it and it seems to have some really positive effects for some people. : )

I haven't no, but have heard it is very good,
for example if you pull an elastic band & then let it goo it releases energy, & Bowne works on the same basis I think. (to put it simply)...
you can also do Jin Shin-jyutsu for yourself by getting a book & altough is not the same, it's also very goodhttp://www.jinshinjyutsu.com/
do you mean bone therapist? my mother inlaws maiden name is bowen
Just read your link its very interesting sorry to say its the first time I ever heard of it it does sound good though. I dont think it would do any harm to try it . It seems gentle enough
Yes - quite a few years ago.
I used to go to a reflexologist who had been training in the Bowen Technique. She treated by 8 week old baby daughter for colic (which had a positive effect - didn't cure it but definitely helped).
She also treated me with Bowen Technique - I'm not sure what it did, but it was very calming. The moves are very slight and gentle, so it definitely does no harm.
thanks for the link..no i haven't ,not even heard about it before, but it looks interesting... :)
