Some things you can do:

Stop eating any sugary foods/sugar (thats all cakes, sweets of all kinds, sugar in tea/coffee, and processed foods)
Sugar feeds yeasts and other microorganisms and helps them flourish in your system.

Give up processed foods -- as previously mentioned -- they are generally likely to contain sugars, wrong salts, chemicals.

Eat loads of green vegetables -- the chlorophyll strengthens and supports healthy blood production. Also green veg is a good source of alkalizing influence on your body

Consume plenty of clean, fresh water -- a good quality mineral water, or home-distilled water is good -- you should aim to drink at least 2 to 3 litres a day. Drink about half a pint/half a litre an hour steadily through the day. This will take some getting used to (if you don't do it already) but will help flush toxins from your body.

Use only mineral rich quality (preferably organic) sea salt on your food. Contrary to popul mythology salt is NOT bad for you IF it is the right kind of salt. In fact it is very essential. Cut out any other kind of salt -- and be sure to saeson food only with good sea salt.

Generally prefer a diet of freshly prepared foods, with the accent on veges (ideallyh organic to reduce any intake of agro-chemical resiudues) -- and to help in this start to make youe own juices. Prefer vegetable juices rather than fruit -- except that some of the high anti-oxidant fruits may be ok in mnoderation. Fruits generally contain too much sugar if you are trying to really get this down to 'starve' any lingereing bacterial parasites. (Avoid commercial juices -- especially concentrates -- thye are too sugary and too acidic).

Keep meat consumption moderate (if you eat any at all). Prefer organic if you eat meat (you do not have to spend more -- just spend the same as you do on non-organic but buy less!) this avoids consuming residues of anti-biotics, growth chemicals and any other agro-chemicals to a minimum. Eat white fish, and whilst oily fish has got good oils eat no more than twice week ue to the fact that oily fish is often more highly contaminated with heavy metals.

Give up salty/fatty snacks completely. Instead make it ahbit to consume some nuts every day (if you are NOT allergice of course!). Almonds are particularly good, but walnuts and brazils are also good in moderation. Nuts contain some of the trace minerals that good to have.

Avoid fatty foods, and frying in deep oil. Use a good oil like olive oil when you need to fry but minimize what you use, and occasions hen you fry. Prefer to 'steam' or if you must, boil in minimum water - then dress food with some virgin olive oil. Avoid consuming overly browned foods -- whether fried or roasted. This reduces acrylamide intake.

Reduce to a minimum or cut out alcohol (if you drink). It acidifies the system and is, naturally, toxic.

Your aim should be to 'de-acidify' your system. As you reach a better level of alkalinity your body will free itself of many of the bugs that hange around when it is a n acidic/sugary envionment. You should consequently discover a new lease of helath and vitality.

You might also consider taking a good quality probiotic. I do NOT mean a little yogurt drink! But a proper probiotic strong enough to really boost your intestinal health (I'll post a link that describes more details of what to look for). This is actually really important because a very high proportion of 'western diet victims' have seriously impaired 'digestive health'. Even if you don't have lots of indigestion, your gut can be compromised...SO even if you have a fabulous diet you will not be getting everything that you should out of it. Gut health is KEY to overall strong health and immune system. Cannot be under-estimated.

These strategies should turn things around dramatically within 2 to 3 months, so that by spring/early summer 2008 you'll be bursting with health!

Hope this helps

Best thing Ive found is not eating processed foods.
When I got rid of the chemicals most of the problems disappeared.
It does take longer to prepare all your own food from the raw ingredients, but the benefit is well worth the effort.

Sleep is one of the best ways to improve your resistance to minor and irritating little infections.

Sleep is the time when our bodies go through the most recuperation and growth. Lack of it directly leads to suppresed immune systems.

I also like to go for the quick and simple insurance of a good quality multi vitamin/mineral tablet.

anti oxidents (sorry for spelling) things like blackberrys, blue berrys. if u go to ur local supermarket and just look around there should be plenty of things like that. also try having hebal teas, make sure u get the caffine free tho.

Hello,

ANS) I highly recommend that you consider a short fasting process of say 2-3 days. Meaning no solid foods but just drinking fluids. Such as juices (juiced apples, plus juiced carrot, plus juiced celery) take the juiced fruit & vegetables and mix 1 part spring water to x3 parts juice.

This will help purge your entire system of any toxins and this will definitely help boots or kick start your immune system. Especially after a course of illness or after having taken antibiotic's.

**Eat lot of live foods such as Yogurts which will refresh your gut bacteria.

**Soup also made from Soya Miso (miso is also a live cultured food).

**Try cooking & eating mostly organically grown vegetables if you can get hold of them.

Myth:- avoid the governments 5 pieces of fruit & veg a day this is utter non sense & twaddle. Like wise the 8 cups of water a day this is also non sense. This only makes you pee out more water from the body and puts extra stress of the kidneys which is not necessary. It has no benefit at all as far as I can see.

Hope that helps?

Kind Regards & happy 2008 from Ivan
