Do Psyciatric Drugs Increase Crime Rates?!

Question: Well i would think so.

Answers: Well i would think so.

Its religious extremism all ways has been, all ways will be. Also when i say religious extremism i include all religions.

It sounds like you've been hanging around Scientologists. They blame everything on psychiatrists, which is just nonsense. L Ron Hubbard was a diagnosed paranoid schitzophrenic, and like many paranoid people, thought his Doctors were conspiring against him and the world, and trying to make him take medicine which would alter his brain and control his thoughts.
Classic paranoid thinking is that people, the government or aliens, are trying to control your brain. And that's exactly what Scientologists do - they try to control your thinking, utilizing the bizarre logic of a paranoid schitzophrenic.
Hope that helps. PS: No, there has not been an increase in crime due to psych meds. Much crime is committed by the mentally ill, who are often homeless. Psych drugs would get them off the streets, into rehab and functioning in society again, thus decreasing crime.

The increase in crime rates has nothing to do with Medication against Mental Disorders. I' think many psychiatrists give drugs too easily, because they can have severe adverse effects. But they definitely do not increase the probability that a mentally ill person commits a crime, in contrast, many drugs given to mental ill people make them sleepy and reduce their drive for any activities. This makes it less probable that they commit crimes.
