Are the drugs ritalin and barbiturates illegal, recreational or medicinal?!

Answers: thnx

Ritalin and Barbituates are both class 'B' drugs which are all illegal without prescription, all are used as 'recreational' drugs and all are used medicinally.

Being in posession of a class B drug carries a maximum sentence of 5 years and/or fine, dealing carries a maximum penalty of 14 years and/or fine.

Ritalin is a stimulant commonly used for the treatment of Attention - Deficient Hyperactive Disorder or ADHD, it is similar in action to amphetamines and cocaine and just as addictive.

Barbituates several years ago were commonly prescribed by doctors as sleeping pills. However following a spate of deaths due to missuse, they have largely been replaced by tranquilizers.

My links cover all the drugs mentioned, and I've taken the liberty of adding Narcotics Anonymous ,for those who genuinly require help. I'm a recovered alcoholic whos been to rehab and seen at first hand what these drugs lead to.

Barbs...lol

Theyre government promoted suppressants. The dull down your human nature. Make u feel relaxed and take away all your want to do anything. They are legal but can u see y the US government promote them?

ritalin is medical perscrition barbs are illegal as far as i know.

Ritalin is a prescribed medicinal drug, although it is way over prescribed.

Barbiturates are legal, they are used mainly as sedatives (tranquelizers). Of course people do obtain them and use them illegally. They can be highly addictive.

my answer is all.

They are medicinal & possibly recreational, and illegal if you are taking them without a doctor's prescription. =)

whatever they are they are dangerous to health & SHOULD be banned. I doubt you will get them without prescription but stay away from them, they are harmful in the long run.
