Should I get my bachelor's or just take a course?!

Question: I am currently enrolled in Kaplan University. I am majoring in Health Science. When I was speaking to an advisor, I told her that I wanted to do work in Holistic Health. She told me what to major in to do that. I am now realizing that it's going to cost me thousands of dollars to do something that is just the start of what I want to eventually do.

I have a concentration in Health and Wellness, but it isn't natural health and wellness. So when I finish my degree, I will have to find a school to learn about natural health and wellness.

I found a school for natural health and wellness, and it will cost about $4000. Should I go for my bachelor's, or just take the $4000 course?

Thanks in advance!

can you take the $4,000. course and then if you can't get anywhere go back to school??
Or find a good holistic doc that will train you?

You could also study on your own at the same time.
There are a few in my area and they have radio call in shows, That and books by Gary Null, Maureen Salamon Kennedy, Michael Weiner (Savage) and a few others are where I learned much of what I know. I have a lot of good sites too if you want them email me.

Most of the NDs I know did 4 years, then went on to Masters, then PhD. Some even did Chiro study on top of that. One who I know currently considering is a pharmacist, and will go on to naturopathics from there.

As far as natural healing though, you might want to say exactly what field you want to go into. I know herbalists with and without bachelor's degrees. Homeopaths, with and without, etc.. When you decide which area you want, then talk to some already practicing in that area and see what they recommend.
