What do you know about 'Herballife'?!

Question: I would stay away from this company. It's a multi-level marketing company. The people at the top make good money and nobody else earns anything. Multi-level marketing companies lie about everything. Multi-level marketing also has a horrible reputation. Why do you think Amway had to change it's name? Companies only change their names if they have to. Many people refer to Amway as "Scamway." In my opinion, all of the multi-level marketing companies are exactly the same.

Ask yourself how much time and money do you need to invest to join Herbalife? Will you also have to buy motivational materials and pay big bucks to go to motivational conferences.? (At Amway, many of the top people are making most of their money giving motivationaI seminars and selling books and tapes.) I know some great salespeople and they just couldn't even break even doing multi-level marketing.

Also, ask yourself, if Herbalife is such a great company, why is there such large turnover and why is this opportunity being offered to you? (If I had a great opportunity I would offer it only to my relatives or very close friends.)

Also, if Herbalife's products are so great, why do they need sales people? Great products sell themselves. Why doesn't Herbalife just sell the products directly over the Internet?

Furthermore, do you know anyone who is making money selling Herbalife? (Don't listen to the lies! Look at reality. I'm sure someone told you that they are making a fortune and they want you to be a part of it. Well, look at the car that person drives and look at where they live. Do you really think they are making any money?

In my opinion it's just like Amway (Scamway). The vast majority of people involved in multi-level marketing schemes don't make any money. As a matter of fact, they lose money because they have to buy a certain amount of merchandise every month, attend motivational seminars and buy motivational books and tapes.

Most multi-level marketing schemes are like cults. The leaders at the top of the pyramid are worshipped as if they were gods and the followers are not allowed to question anything. Many good people have lost everything they had being involved in multi-level marketing. Also, the cult (multi-level marketing company) will isolate you from your friends and family. You will also lose your friends and family because nobody will want to be around you if you are constantly trying to sell Herbalife's over-priced merchandise. If you want to make more money then get a part-time job or doing anything else. I think it's a waste of your time or talents to be involved with Herbalife or any other multi-level marketing company.

I wish you the best of luck.

All I know is that both my aunt and one of my friends used it to lose weight. It worked they looked so skinny while they were taking it...

Then they stopped taking it and their weights skyrocketed. They are know heavier than when they first started taking it.

not much other than its basically a scam,so stay away!!so i've heard.

nothing

Well, Its a good tool to keep the unwanted friends and relatives away. Just explain them the **** and relax they themselves would avoid you. The products??? Some crap filled in attractive containers which work more on your psyche than your body.... with a huge price tag attached to it.

It's a scam to sell desperate people a garbage product.

In February 1980. Mark Hughes began selling the original Hebalife wieght loss product from the trunk of his car. By 1982, it had reached $2;000;00 in sales and opened a distributionship in Canada. in 1986 it became a publicly traded company via NASDAQ. in 1996 annual sales reached $1;000;000;000.
In 2000 Mark Hughes died aged 44 from an overdose of alcohol and Doxepi after a four day drinking binge.
In 1994 Mark started the Herbalife Family Foundation. the organization recieves donations from Herbalife itself as well as individuals and outside the company. it has donated more than $6.5 million to Childrens causes world wide.
It's now run by Michael O. Johnson, who worked for Disney for 17yrs. it employs 3500 people world wide with products distributed in 65 countries.
Hope that helps. Love Suzi

I have been twice asked to sell this stuff and the lifestyle to go with it. Dodgy or what!!!! If you are fat it makes you thin and visa versa. What a load of old cobblers. If selling this stuff gave us a lifestyle which I had been virtually promised, we would all be on it. Go to Job Centre and ask for fun. Its what used to be called Pyramid selling. Its a complete con.

This is a pyramid scheme hiding as a legitimate business.
The people who make money do it by getting other people to join who have to give them $250 to join. Nobody makes money by selling the vitamins. You just sell a couple to your family and then the rest sits in your closet.
If somebody you know is selling them give them a try if you want. Their quality is pretty good.
I like a company called Your Life, which you can buy at normal Supermarkets. They are very good and a whole box costs about $16.00!
