Well, I know the detox patch foot things are fake. I bought them and was initially skeptical because even though they are gross and stinky in the morning, they pretty much smell the same way when they are dry and you're putting them on. (Just not as strong.)
So I attached a couple to a hot water bottle and put it under the covers when I went to bed and in the AM, it looked and smelled exactly like it did on my feet.
I do believe in reflexology however. (You have to press pretty hard though to effect any real benefits. I learned 15 lb. pressure was a good amount - I took a few courses. You practice by pressing your fingers onto a scale.)

yes, definitely, but i don't know about the detox patches pharmaceutical sales people boast about....

Sure everything is connected. The maps of the feet are acurate to manipulate and create balance within the body. Now consider: you are going to take a patch, place it on these reflex areas, and force toxins out of the body through an area that reflects other parts of the body? Why would you want to force the entire system in this way? It is not a natural process. Sure, the skin is a system of elemination, but why force the liver (for example) to dump it's toxins through the feet? Wouldn't it be more effective to use the small intestines, large intestines, to eliminate?

I'm sure these patches work to some degree, but one would question why you want to manipulate the system in this way.

Reflexology is bogus. It's just a fancy name for a foot massage. There is no evidence that your foot is "connected" in the way they'd like you to believe.

The "detox" patches are a scam also. You cannot remove "toxins" with a stupid patch on your feet.
