They can irritate your skin. Essential oils are extremely concentrated. They are also very hard to spread. You can add it to your lotion, but it would be best to add 10-15 drops of essential oil to a carrier oil-almond, grapeseed, beeswax, etc. Buy small, dark glass bottles to store them in so they don't go rancid.
