Where can I get some herbs in Canada?!

Question: I'm looking for milk thistle, burdock root, neem, basil, sandalwood, elm bark, dandelion root and olive leaf. Is it possible to get them at Loblaws or Shoppers Drug Mart. If not, then where could I find them?

If you havent yet opened up the yellow pages and looked for a health food store then you might begin there..If youre herbally inclined and have somewhat of a green thumb..then I would suggest growing your own or purchasing a complete herbal dictionary with pictures available and go "shopping" in the wild...There are many many herbs which grow right in your own backyard that we all think are weeds...(dandelion root) ..but make sure your pictures match the plant your harvesting...
Most herbs grow well with little help...Easy gardening...Except those which can overtake your garden in a few seasons...(spearmint, catnip..ect..) you should have no problems.

try British Columbia (BC bud)

Health food store, eh?

certain health food stores carry raw products such as these. I know of one near my house, they have all of the ones listed and about 50 more.

Some cities have specialty stores that specialize in such thing. Shop around with the Internet or phone book.

I have a friend named Herb, he lives in Ottawa. Try there.

Try Urban Shaman out of Vancouver. They also have a website; see below:
