Can panax ginseng or ginko be homegrown?!

Question: I don't know about ginko but you can grow ginseng. It takes years to grow a plant until the root is viable and it is generally more cost effective to just buy them. They are not common potted plants but forest dwelling species that take years to mature and are currently over harvested. Get more info here;
