Why does my colloidal silver look like this?!

Question: Made my own colloidal silver generator, and something doesnt seem right, although it is turning an amber color, the silver wire connected to the + is surrounded by what looks like an underwater tree, that is dropping bunches of a dark substance. Has anybody experienced this before, I am using a 30vdc power supply and I think what I bought as silver wire may not be silver. Here is the picture.

How ironic that just today I read further on Collodial Silver. I happened across a website called Kelly Collodial Silver. It was a great site, well laid out and very informative.

I have to agree that the cases of people having grey skin, were using inferior silver products. A quality Collodial Silver will not turn your skin grey.

For months now I have ordered what we use from Herbal Healer. It works great on what ever ailment and even for topical uses it is a fast healer! (It is an amber color)

To make your own Collodial Silver would take more knowledge than I posses. From all I have read over the past few months, there are many silver making devices which do not give the true collodial silver product.

You might want to investigate more thoroughly before trying to make your own. You didn't say whether or not this was your first attempt or if you had been doing this for a while with great results. But maybe these two sites can get you started on learning more.

This much I do know. You absolutely must use a glass container if you add Collodial Silver to a beverage. If you use plastic, the silver will cling to it and be useless. Glass however, keeps the silver particles suspended in the liquid beverage).

That looks more like an impurity in the silver that was expelled. I would say that you probably did not get pure silver.

(Oh and if you drink too much colloidal silver, your skin turns blue-grey. Swear to god. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sa2OpNTX9... )

Making your own what you believe is colloidal silver is actually 100% ionic silver which is grossly inferior to true colloidal silver.

Most argyria cases have been caused by ionic silver which is sometimes sold as colloidal silver.

You can find further information in a search for "true colloidal silver products".
