Why constipation in winters now dont say drink water pls some home remedy?!

Question: Don't say water?

How much more natural and "home remedy" can you get than water! Your body is 98% water.

Try adding 1 teaspoon of honey and a twist of lemon to a 12 oz glass of water. Drink one glass full, 1 seating, three times daily 30 minutes before meals. The water makes your bowels move, the honey is a natural curative and excellent of diagested sugar plus it has loads of nutrients which have already been digested by the bees and the lemon will add Vitamin C. One glass between meals is also helpful.

Also increasing your diet of known constipation helps such as raisins, dates, prunes, figs, molasses and a small amount of honey to form a gentle, safe and natural way to get EXCEPTIONAL relief from irregularity. I grew up without doctors until I was 21 years old.

The two remedies above have worked for me going on 64 years! I guess Grandma and Mama were right, God Bless their soul. It's working for my 6 children and 16 grand children, without side-effects I might add.

i've had a bad case of it the past week. i know you don't want to hear it, but eat more fiber, water, and exercise. it gets things moving, i promise. it took about a day for it all to kick in, but it works. now, i make sure i do this stuff everyday. fiber one cereal has 13 grams of fiber and 3 of soluble fiber, which helps you go.

in winter our intestine and colon become sluggish due to climate.
To avoid constipation use fibre food, drink more water, keep walking

If you are suffering from constipation more in the winter, it seems the most likely cause is a change in your lifestyle-- you are probably either eating less fiber, or exercising less.

Make a point to get up and move around for at least 30 minutes every day. Walk around at a quick pace, and do some stretches. This will help stimulate your bowels to move. Also, read the nutrition labels on your food and make sure you are getting at least 35 grams of fiber per day. And, yes, do drink plenty of water otherwise the fiber will just bind you up worse and give you hemmerhoids.

Add butter milk to your dinner/lunch daily.
Take atleast 2 bananas - one in day & another after lunch at night - daily. If possible can also try popcorn - weekly.
Your digestive systems will be rejuvenated and flushed.

bananas.

If you are an Indian , buy a packet of "Isobgul" from any stationery or medicine shop.......The refined version is named as "Nature Cure" which is little extra costly.Just buy ordinary one in packets of 100 gm or 200 gm.Take two teaspoons full every night after meal ......... after mixing with warm water.......but, make it a point to take a full glass of warm water while mixing "Isobgul".this will work fine for anyone.

Linseed is extremely use full in difficult cases of constipation.A tsp. of linseed swallowed with water before each meal provides both bulk and lubrication.do this everyday .It will surely help you.

On the spiritual side, I would say that constipation is usually due to something you cannot digest mentaly. Winter usually coincides with slugishness and such. Ask yourself what it is you cannot accept mentaly in your life right now. You may be suprised!

Try a couple of tablespoons of olive oil. It not only helps constipation but is loaded with healthy monounsaturrated fat. Magnesium supplementation also relieves constipation, I recommend "Calm"--an over the counter mag. supplement.

There are several "home remedies" that will make your bowels move, including Senna tea, prunes (8 for 150 lb. adult), eating raw fruits and veggies, flaxseed added to cereal & bread (Uncle Sam is one brand of cereal w/ flax, aka linseed).

As to why, probably you are drinking less fluid, eating less fresh fruit & possibly not getting as much activity like swimming, tennis, volleyball or just walking outdoors. Perhaps there is a favorite food you eat more in winter - most dairy products are constipating if not balanced with increased fiberous foods. Corn slows things down for some people.

Try drinking a cup of hot magnesium like Natural Vitality Calm first thing in the morning, every day. If you hate water, drink other things like Dandelion root tea, black tea with lemon & honey, Knudsen "Mega-Green" juice or juiced carrots. Even V-8 (low-sodium) will help.

Make hot soups with carrots, celery, onion, canned tomato and lots of cabbage. Leave out the potatoes and rice. Beans & lentils are good source of fiber, too.

2 tbsp. Black Strap Molasses
