if you go to the doctor , your going to be on medication for life, and you may still carry symptoms.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE start taking an Iodine supplement. Iodine truly helps hypothyroidism. Ive been taking it for 3 months and my symptoms have reduced 90 percent. take iodoral or lugols iodine. start slow and work your way up, but dont take at night because you wont be able to sleep.

no you need to be placed on thyroid replacement therapy. you know a visit to the Dr and a blood draw are only about $50-60 out of pocket. the thyroid med can be given to you as sample from your dr until you get insurance. they are also very inexpensive to pay for as well. i get 90 day supply of levothyroxine for $35

Look up alternative remedies on the internet...

IODINE?
See doctor asap

Your diet could be low in iodine. The thyroid needs sufficient iodine to work properly. You can buy natural kelp supplements from a health food store, but follow the directions for dosage carefully. Kelp contains iodine. Otherwise see your doctor about having blood tests done and take the prescribed medication. Good luck.
