Will taking cayenne pepper supplements boost my metabolism?!

Question: I doubt it... at least for long-term effects.
Cayenne is good for circulation, so you may have similar effects of a "metabolism boost" for a short time (feeling warmer, more energy, better utilization of energy), but once it is metabolized and processed through your system, the effects will end.

If you're looking for something simple to boost your metabolism, try Chromium. 200 mcg is the typical recommended dose, and you don't want to go too high, as any mineral can build up in your system. Otherwise, you could also start an exercise regiment to increase your metabolism without taking any pills... working out regularly will also keep your metabolism higher longer after you stop versus supplements.

[edit] B vitamins won't help your metabolism, but they will help for energy so they may feel like they are boosting your metabolism.

The hot peppers are supposed to do that. I've never tried it. But, cayenne has lots of good benefits, so adding it to your food couldn't hurt one bit! (Too much will give you rectum problems though . . as well any peppers - burning to be exact.)

They are suppose to do that , but they are also a natural healer. Be careful when taking these as they can really make your stomach have pain if not taken properly. You must never take them with coffee, only makes them hotter and you should have a full stomach and maybe drink milk when taking them, they cannot hurt your stomach inside only cause pain. Good luck.

Don't take the supplements but buy the pepper and add it to sauces, and fried foods. It tastes good.
