Vaccine free families, thoughts on tetanus?!
Question: To all those families who opt out of vaccines for their kids, what are your thoughts on the tetanus vaccine and would you give it in an emergency?
Please no hate responses to this. This is a heated issue though, I know. I just want input from those who practice this form of alternative healthcare.

While I hate vaccines, I used to think tetanus was on of the best points of evidence for using it.
Since then I found out that you aren't as likely as I thought to get tetnus from a rusty nail, and that the vaccine isn't very good for you.
Much more importantly though, I found out that if you get an intravenous injection of H2O2 it will completely kill the tetanus bacteria and you will be completely fine.
So weighing it all out
Vaccine: Moderately expensive, possible negative side effects, most likely pointless.
H202: Very cheap, no side effects.
Having weighed the new evidence, I thus feel vaccination for tetanus is not a very good choice, especially now they that ones getting mercurized as well.

H202 has no toxicity or damage to cells provided it is used in the proper concentration. If you inject someone with 3% they will most like have tissues die and the veins will scar. If you use .03% however, it helps the body instead. All the problems you listed come from incorrect concentrations being used, not the substance itself.
I am for no vaccinations but I would be okay with it if it was actually NEEDED for the individual.
You always should consider risk vs benefit. We don't vaccinate either, but when my 4yo got cut on a rusty wire (and we live on a farm with animals including horses) we got her a tetanus. You can ask for tetanus only - AND you can have them order a preservative free vaccine for you if you want. They cost more, but IMO it is worth it!
We are vaccine free, and it would be on a need basis. I would be more likely to say no to it - but if the injury were on a commercial farm, with exposure to the dirt involved, I'm might say yes. Tetanus lives in the dirt *(not rusty nails). But, is more likely on a commercial farm, where disease runs rampant. We are a family farm, and if the injury happened here, I wouldn't bother with the vaccine.

I have no problems with most vaccines.
Tetanus is bad news, and like most other diseases, if it is viral in nature, very large doses of vitamin C may overwhelm the virus before it overwhelms the body. I am not sure if it is viral or bacterial; but I suspect bacterial. Bacterial diseases Vitamin C will not touch, and I know of no naturopathic way to cope with the virulent bacteria but to hope and pray.
Some immunity can be picked up if things are not kept too clean and a child can be exposed to small amounts of the disease-causing organism so as to get a small infection and then wipe it out naturally.
But this goes contrary to the current public idea that kids are to be squeaky clean all the time, and kept from dirt as much as possible.
And if the body is well fed and strong, a lot of infections will be fought off. I also use Vitamin E on cuts and bruises, and povodone-Iodine on cuts. Alcohol is a good antiseptic, as is strong salt water.
But one needs to remember that a lot of the old bacteria the body should have been able to fight off are now, due to promiscuous use of strong drugs and similar antibiotics that kill 99.8% and the rest grow up as super-bugs, able to overwhelm normal body defenses a lot more effectively, and that needs to be kept in mind. These are not your mother's mild germs, but many are highly virulent and very tough. Alcohol and Hydrogen Peroxide are now needed to clean a wound that soap and water used to handle. We may end up back with Lister's Carbolic Acid eventually!!
Just be careful, and consider if enhancement of the immunity might be a good policy for today! For tomorrow...dunno...may have to breed superhumans!!.
But sorry, my kinds had the normal rounds of shots, plus lots of Vitamin C at any indication of a problem...and they seem to have survived both my care and the doctor's!
Re Alex, H2O2 IV...H2O2 destroys all sorts of tissue, and I would want to see some strong evidence of safety for such a strong oxidizer IV. H2O2 destroys red blood cells rapidly, for one thing.
