Why is it bad to take tramadol or a painkiller with depressents?!

Question: There is a risk that Tramadol could cause seizures and this risk could be higher for a number of reasons, one being the use if antidepressants along side. So it is best not to take them both.

If paracetamol is not strong enough for pain, I'd see a doctor and get them to prescribe or suggest something better.

I don't know about other "painkillers" (aspirin), but tramadol is an opiate based medicine, which I think acts as a anitdepressant also.

somebody answer this quick as I'm on both
