Does honey give laxative effect?!

Question: just wondering lol not putting it in to use or nothing

Answers: just wondering lol not putting it in to use or nothing

Yes and Bee Pollen is even better /Worse.

If you take enough of it, absolutely. Enough of any type of sugar works as a laxative because it brings more water into the intestines.
Personally, I love honey and have had a few ounces in a sitting without having a laxative effect (that I realized was from the honey).... but it's moderation in all things that's important ;-)

Hmm first thing i heard of it. Hmm i am now wondering if its true

For some people it is. I grew up on "honey". Grandma and Mama found more uses for this wonder medicine and I follow in their foot steps.

Honey is really nothing short of food that has already been digested by the bees and regurgitated into their wax combs to feed the next generation of bees.

Some humans can accept "second hand" food and some of us can not. I use it to eat, on wounds, sun burn, dry skin, flaky skin, rub a hand full into my scalp to prevent dandruff, etc. etc. etc. I even used it once to keep ice from forming on my windshield! Don't do it, it's harder to take off than plain ice and it's a gooey sweet smelly mess once the defroster gets working! LOL

yes
