What is the best way to get motivated ?!

Question: i feel like i have no motivation to do anything...

Answers: i feel like i have no motivation to do anything...

I know what you mean. I get that way, especially now in winter. I hate winter!
When I feel that, I can tell you that if I get up, drink my coffee, then force myself to get into the shower right after that, and get all the way ready, I will be more productive and energized. If I allow myself to not shower and stay in my jammies, I will get hardly anything done.
Also, I feel so much better when the sun in shining, whether I go outside or not. So, make sure you open your blinds or curtains in the morning. I am more motivated when the sun is shining.
Make a list of things you want to do the next day or for a week. Do not plan too many things for one day or that will be disappointing when you don't accomplish them. Just a few things a day, not too many. Even one or two things and then at the end of the day, let yourself feel good for accomplishing them and do not let yourself feel bad for what you didn't get done.

I put on a cute outfit before I do anything that I am not really motivated to do-then plug into my ipod and sing like nobody can hear!!!

The results you want. They don't come along by themselves. Go get what you want. Don't know what that is, hang out with a close friend into the wee hours, deep conversation will come up.

And if it doesn't, bring it up! lol

move

Life is really hard some times and it is not always easy but what I have figured out in life is how bad do you want it . We always make excuses for the things we really don't want to do
No one can make you do it that is your choice you have to make up your mind and just do it, some time,s it is good if you have support from friends , family or co- workers. Good luck to you being motivated

By making yourself busy...Plan your work ,priorities.Listen to good advices.Read some inspirational books.Move .....

one of the reasons is you are bored with your day, and your self, and that maybe? because you have not done any thing different you have allowed other people to do your thinking. It's easy to to lay around and watch T V,or stay in doors and do nothing you may also have low self esteem?
You are young and have a life time in front of you don't waste it. The one aim in life is to be happy which can last for some timer. Pleasure on the other hand is short lived.
first look how fortunate you are there are millions in India and Africa who staving some even eat dirt to survive, there over 500,000,000 people in the world who cannot read or write, there 6,000,000 people in Africa who have AIDS there are hundreds of children who have lost both parents to AIDS and are now orphans.
Now to motivation! you have a brain that is better than any computer.Scientist have just found out that if you don't use it your brain cells (neurons) will die.they believed that you were born with a certain amount of neurons and that was it.
But if you learn something new you will grow more neurons.
So do something different, it can be small, like smelling a rose, think about the smell of earth just after the first rain falls, take a walk, go home a different way, a new street,
set the alarm early in the morning before the streets are alive with people, and take 12 deep breathes of fresh air, feel how great it is to be alive.
A TRUE STORY my family once met who said 'IT'S A GREAT DAY WHEN YOU CAN GET OUT OF BED ON A GREAT DAY LIKE THIS'
then he said 'there are a lot of people in his world that are in hospital and can't get out of bed.
I hope this may help? It's up to you now. GOOD LUCk.

Not much to go on. Is this problematic, consistent, persistent, or just for today. If persistent, I'd suggest you do some reading about the B vitamins and get yourself a good B complex, you could be lacking. That would cause an energy drag and make you feel unmotivated. More info about anything else going on would be helpful.

I smoke pot. With me it work like coffee. The better the smoke, the cleaner the house. We actually used to call it "Motivation"

Picture yourself having completed the task and then break down the steps that got you there.

Knowing your goals is important - I found a free website called Sproximo helpful with some good suggestions on staying motivated.

that is a normal feeling to have during winter. the days are dark and cold, animals hibernate, naturally we would have low energy too.
don't be to hard on yourself. sure, try the other suggestions, and also make sure you are getting lots of rest (real rest, tv on doesn't count) eating healthy, and staying connected with friends and family. Sometimes when I feel like that a good chat on the phone calms that anxious judgmental part of me that thinks I should be more productive.
you are ok. don't let anybody tell you otherwise...not even your own head
