What do you know about Colloidal Silver drops?!
Question: I recently posted about chronic colds.. someone suggested colloidal silver drops as a natural antibiotic which also fights against viruses.. I went to whole foods and got some.. can anyone offer up any personal experience with this?

I have good success gargling silver to get rid of a sore throat. I have also used a silver spray mail ordered from Azure Standard, against the back of my throat to get rid of sore throats. It really works for me. I have heard and read that with improper use, as in overdose or improperly manufactured silver particles, that it can turn your skin gray or blue. That's from too much silver in your system. My mom has used silver for years, just for things like colds, and never had a problem.
At www.mercola.com SEARCHBAR there was a picture of someone whose face went permanently blue from daily use. You would be better off with *alternating ginger, turmeric, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and eating 2 cloves of crushed garlic (or odourless capsules) daily. I used to get colds and 'flu every winter, but haven't had one, since I started the above, but I show no signs of developing any allergic* reactions from overuse, so I use them all, daily, in moderation, and don't bother to alternate.
