Bragg's Liquid Aminos - Anyone Use?!

Question: Checking into these. One of the ladies who orders with us for the co-op gets them regularly. I've never really checked them out, though I do know the benefits of aminos. Would love to know how people use them, and what they think of them.

Only those who use or have used though. I don't need a wikipedia cut and paste, or science lesson.

I and my family have used Bragg's Liquid Amino's in the past. We loved how it tasted, however, I have MSG allergies and Bragg's set it off every time. Come to find out the nice little MSG free sign on the bottle was removed by the FDA because the Bragg's, due to the ingredient's and the way it is processed, does the same thing in the body as MSG.

My skin would break out in rashes and my heart would race so hard. Breathing was difficult and my children had mood swings. We gave up the Bragg's and saw night and day difference in our health. It's sad because we did really like it.

None of us miss it in anyway now that we have gone over at least 5 years without it. Hope this helps!

just bought a small bottle myself. tried spraying it on food that I would use soy sauce on. has an interesting flavor. i'm neither impressed nor disimpressed at this point. have a star. hopefully you'll get some more answers since i'd like to know more too.

I use it all the time. I put it on my mixed veggies or veggie salad, it tastes great on rice. It kind of tastes like soy sauce, but it doesn't nearly have as much salt, I really like it.

I use it almost daily. I like the fact that it adds a salty flavor without adding much sodium.

I love Bragg's Liquid Aminos and have been using it for years. My husband likes the taste better than soy sauce and it is similar enough that I use it as a substitute. I also use it in recipes that call for Worchestershire sauce.

Sodium content of typical soy sauce is 343 mg per teaspoon. Bragg's is still high at 220 mg per teaspoon, but an improvement. And there is no carmel color or sodium benzoate. No wheat, for those who might be allergic. Keeps for a year in the cabinet without refrigeration.

Bragg's seasoning is good in scrambled eggs (1 teaspoon per 3 eggs and add no salt). I put a teaspoon on stir fry while at the steaming stage. Add to soups instead of boullion, especially if serving vegetarians. Gives color and flavor to rice dishes and tofu. I just use it in any place where moisture and salt are desired.

I've used it for over a year now. I like it. . It's good on veggies, pasta, meat, chicken, salad, fried rice, and much more. Start with a small bottle and use a little on your food until you get use to the taste.

Give it a try, you might like it.
