Can I give my 12 month old Airbourne? If so, how much?!

Question: We as a family have used airbourne for a long time now. It really works. We can feel very sick with sore throats and sinus problems in the morning, but take airbourne and are better by nightfall...sometimes almost immediately! My 12 month old developed some nasal symptoms with a slight (loose) cough last night and I really want to give him airbourne - I want him to reap the same benefits that we do from it. I'm already doing saline which I always do, but I know airbourne would work great. He has an appt. tmorrow for his 12 month check up, I plan on asking his doctor about it, but most doctors won't advise you on homeopathic remedies probably because they're not regulated by the FDA. So...has anyone else given their baby airbourne? Or is there a doctor out there who can answer my question? Thanks so much!

First and foremost, DONT VACCINATE your 12 month old if he has even a slight case of sinus problem since his immune system is down. There has been many cases that kids go into Dr. offices with a minor health problem and get vaccinated at the same visit (specially MMR) and have completely lost their children after that. Believe me is a very common situation here in America that most dr.s specially pediatricians are just blinded by this unbiased true research. I'm not talking about research funded by a pharmaceutical company but by independent, professional health experts that have no ties to the pharmaceutical companies. If it is your decision to vaccinate your son do it so when hes not sick.

To answer your question is simple. The least foreign substances you put to your young child's body the better. There's other herbal remedies that you could find at your local health store that can boost his immune system to help fight off his sinuses by himself. His immune system is developing so therefore the more he fights off himself the stronger his immune system would be. Also, try to find out whats causing his sinuses since it sounds like its an re occurring allergic reaction. Lactose products usually trigger these symptoms. Good luck!!

read the package please, airborne is NOT recommended for children under three years of age. Babies build immunities by getting colds and such, they tolerate it fairly well too, so no, do not give your baby airborne.

Dear one,
we are not really able to give you this advice, but what about calling a homeopath or naturopath and asking them on the phone. most will give you this advice with out even asking for compensation unlike most MD's (who think they are god)

we have been giving our kids airborne since then were around a year perhaps a 1/2 tab of the adult or jr.

but i wont advise you what do give to your little one. i would not be comfortable with that.

best

addendum: the world is FULL of ignorami....

I would assume that your baby should not be given airborne, simply because pregnant and nursing women are advised not to consume it. It might just be too many vitamins/minerals for the baby's body. I'd recommend against it, but your doctor may be able to recommend some type of baby vitamin, which is essentially what airborne is.

Wow... NO, don't give it to your kid... 12 months is too young...

Read the package.

NO!!

Your baby needs to get colds to build up his immune system.

NO WAY!!!!!!!!!

Don't give anyone Airbourne... unless you enjoy wasting money

Airborne is composed of vitamins and minerals, probably most of which can be consumed in food form as opposed to a supplement. Keeping your toddler's diet rich in high quality and high nutrient food is ideal, as giving he/she supplements is not until later in life. If you would like a healthy child, the key is good nutrition, whole foods, and daily activity, not supplements.

How the Mayans, Aztecs, and Incas became extinct. No immune system. Giving Airbourne would break down the immune system. It is like taking the flu shot every year. The immune system gets broken down. The last time I had immunity shots was in the NAVY 12 years ago. I am now immuned to the common cold. And, never been sick due to the fact I stay away from drugs.
