Throat soothing foods/drinks?!

Question: I have a sore throat and I was wondering if there are any foods and drinks that would help it feel better.
So I think chocolate, chips, popcorn and juice are things I should stay away from right?
I'm drinking hot tea right now. I gargle with salt water and I'm gonna have chicken soup for lunch tmrw.

Any other foods that are good for a sore throat?

Try adding a little honey in with your hot tea. The salt water and chicken soup sounds like you're doing the right thing. You can also try eating ice cream or yogurt.

Sounds like you're all set! Stick with what you're doing. Like the person before said, try a little bit of honey in that tea.

Take an asprin before bed and let it desolve at the back of your thoat don't wash it out after your done it does taste gross but i promise it works try it n you'll wake up n it'll be gone.

Fresh ginger tea is a wonderful drink when you have a sore throat or don't feel well. Grate a piece of ginger root about the size of the last joint on your thumb (If it looks grungy, peel it before you grate it and don't use the peel). Put the grated ginger in a clean teapot.

Boil a few of cups of water and pour it into the teapot. Let it steep for at least seven minutes and pour it through a strainer into a cup (Put the gratings from the strainer back in the pot). You can sweeten it with honey is you want, but it is good straight-up.

You can get ginger root in the produce section of your local grocery store. It is dirt cheap.

Zinc Lozenges, Throat Coa Tea, Slippery Elm Bark Lozenges.

These are all good products...

honey might help

Honey is indeed good for your throat.

Something else that always works for me is a tea made from licorice root. Sometimes I add a little fresh or dried thyme to the mix; prepare it like you would loose teas, so strain it, put it in an infuser or put it in a DIY tea bag.
