I don't know how they work on migraines but I read that almonds are the natural way to treat having a headache, If you like to eat them or don't mind them try a few and see if it helps any. Can't hurt. They have no side effects and nuts have nutritional value otherwise to ingest some . Be careful to avoid them if you had kidney stones or have a family history of producing those as nuts add to what causes this and don't want to increase any risk in forming those any time soon. Don't expect instant results. Nothing works that fast.

I have good results with chronic migraine patients with upper cervical chiropractic. Has to be the real thing too, or Activator at least, and not some sham nonsense.
I start with 8-12 treatments over 2-3 months, and then maybe maintenance following that ever 4-8 weeks.
It works very well, about 70% of people.
Best luck.

-Keep a note for few weeks during an attack to find out any possible contributory factors and avoid those things. Foods such as red wine, chocolate, and cheese are common triggers. Too much caffeine or cutting back suddenly on your regular intake can cause migraine.
-Gently squeeze your earlobes, pulling the ear down, and do the act of yawning. That will relieve the pressure on the blood vessels and help to pacify the headache.
-Take a ripe banana, peel it, and chop banana into pieces, and add 1 teaspoon warm ghee(clarified butter), 1 teaspoon date sugar, and a pinch of cardamom. Take this early morning.
