How do you cure a sore throat?!
Question: I've got a sore throat and its really bad to the point where my voice sounds like rusty pipes turning. I can't take it. I've tried ginger, honey, garlic everything! nothing works not even the stuff the doctor gives me.help

try not to swallow so much saliva..gurgle with salt water..
-->put 1 teaspoon of salt into the cup and add half cup of water to it.....it should taste a bit salty...use that to gurgle, don't drink it.....then just leave it like that...u can repeat daily til ur throat gets better.it should :)

When i have sore throat i get losenges they really help. feel better. happy early valentines day!!!
when did it start? how did it start? do you have a headache along with it? Occasionally there are menenjitis outbreaks, so make sure it's not that. Honey in hot tea or just a teaspoonful of honey a few times a day, resting yourself (like getting a lot of sleep), and taking a few aspirins should do the trick. So you say you've already been to the doctor...well go back and tell the doctor you need a different prescription because what you got didn't work or didn't work well. Maybe you didn't take it long enough or take every pill he gave you. He will give you something stronger as maybe it's strep throat.
