Sweet oil drops?!

Question: Are they safe during pregnancy for a ear infection?

Answers: Are they safe during pregnancy for a ear infection?

Yes, they are safe to take. Another very safe option is Grapefruit Seed Extract, liquid - 5 drops diluted in 3 oz of water. Put drops in your ear. It is what we use for ear infection instead of antibiotics.

Best to you with the pregnancy!

nope

Sweet oil is olive oil and is perfectly safe for use during pregnancy. Sweet oil soothes if it is warmed a little before putting it into the ear (just like a hot water bottle will soothe).

Almost any ear drop will be safe because it is not absorbed into the body and will not affect your child... I have only found fluocinolone ("DermOtic", used for eczema) listed as being absorbed at all.

This assumes that your eardrum is intact.

Hi try a lavender essential oil. it will reduce any pain and soothes inflammation . also clams you, its one of the oils you can use direct on the skin.
