Is there any alternatives to birth control other than abstinence?!

Question: Go to fertilityfriend.com---you can read about doing basal body temperatures.. You basically take your temp with a BBT thermometer each morning and chart it on this graph, it will tell you when you ovulated based on a change in your temperature(a very small one). It is not fool proof, but you can get a good idea of when your ovulation will be after a few months of practice. The website also tells you how to recognize other subtle 'ovulation is approaching' signs---like cervical fluid, position, etc.

Oh on a sidenote, with this method, you'll be able to tell if you are or are not pregnant(with pretty good reliability)--before you can test, based on the idea that your temps will stay high if you are pregnant.

Abstinence is the only way to go. Wait until you are married if you want a happy life, that is the way God planned it.

There are plenty, and most of them are a lot more fun than abstinence. Condoms, numerous birth control pills, implants, tube tying, voodoo, sponges, diaphragms. Talk to your doctor.

the most RELIABLE way of birth control is abstinence...but yes, there are a variety of others.

Nuva-Ring

Orthro Evra (this is what i'm on)

Orthro Tricyclen

Depro

try the website...it goes through them!

i've been on the pill for two years, and it's the best option if you are in a monogamous relationship, and if you and your partner have been tested for STD's. if you don't want to go through the hassle of getting your man tested, i would suggest condoms.

Stay away from temptations! Hehe.

There are plenty of birth control methods from Pills to IUD that they put inside you and they all have side effects. The catholics believe the pills are a form of abortion although I am not Catholic what I read makes sense

Homoeopathy has few medicines in this regard. Check with your local homoeopath

The great philosopher OVID had said, the best
contraceptive is a glass of water, not before or after
but INSTEAD.
