Serious question. Needs serious answers.?!

Question: Are there any home remedies (that work) for urinary tract infections. I heard somewhere that drinking cranberry juice helps.

DO NOT give me definitions about UTI's. I KNOW what a UTI is.
Please don't give me any "ew that's gross"........if you don't like the question, DON'T ANSWER IT!

Thanks a lot!

enzymes and probiotics, cranberry juice, avoid allergic foods that trigger symptoms,

Things to avoid during a UTI
* Citrus fruits: May cause an alkaline environment which will encourage bacterial growth.
* Sugars, processed foods, caffeine, carbonated beverages and alcohol.
* Feminine hygiene sprays, packaged douches, bubble baths, and tampons.

How can you think you are going to get a serious answer off this web site!!!
Go to your Doctor that's what he or she is there for!!!

i heard that too, but you really need antibiotics to get this out of your system,

YOU NEED TO GO TO A DOCTOR! Only thing cranberry juice will do is KEEP you from having one. It will NOT CURE IT! Please get antibiotics before you do serious damage to your kidneys.

theres medicine you can buy over the counter called azo it can help but yes cranberry juice is good and ive heard the drinking some good ol fashioned alcohol can help (Vodka, tequila) but i dont think id recommend beer just because it has yeast in it .

Cranberry Juice helps a lot
Cranberry vitamins or pills help
Water..

their are really no remedies...the cranberry juice and water help it out but it wont take it away you gotta take antibiotics...

And whoever thinks UTI's are "gross" are idiots...if anything their really painful ...gross...is yeast infection...

linda k's answer is spot on... go with that for your paper.

Good luck

about 28 years ago I was traveling in europe with my boyfriend. I had a uti in the 3rd grade so I knew the symptoms. Anyway, I had minor pain along with very frequent urination or need to urinate. I did the only thing I could think of. I bought a container of plain yogurt (yoplait) and applied to the vaginal area. It brought sweet relief after a few applications. I know this is what we use for yeast infections, but it makes sense that yeast was the offender and therefor it worked. The reason cranberry works is that it prevents bacteria from "sticking to the walls of the bladder.

These formulas are said to never fail.

AIso tells what herbs are in it and why they are good.

In his video, Dr Schulze, who worked with dying patients curing many talks about a man with bone cancer in 90% of his bones who was treated for raging bladder infections that happened due to many cauterization's when the cancer was in his prostrate. He says the man had been to 20 or 30 doctors and taken all the prescription rugs they had but nothing helped. Schulze gave him these formulas and three days later he said the man left a message shouting into the machine OMG OMGG I can't believe it ..you got rid of in three days what none of these doctors and their drug couldn't..Schulze called him back and said now we are going to work on the bone cancer. The man had never even thought of trying to recover from such a serious cancer but Schultze said "I could hear him think and they worked on i and the man was totally healed and is good friends with Dr Schulze and they sometimes power walk together,.

Cranberry juice is also good as the germs cannot stick as this makes it slippery I once read in Jean Carper's book --food your miracle medicine

the formula above at the links is not hard to make..I have made it several times using inexpensive bulk herbs

I recomend remove all long grain carbohydrate from your diet, mind your PH levels, and drink/eat those cranberries. Also be sure you recieve your phosphorus and your vitamin and mineral base.
If this is not enough to clear your uti then i'd be surprised and recomend to continue with added echinacea purpurea.

I have had good results with some of my clients taking cranberry capsules bought at health food stores. Cranberry juice that has not been sweetened is much more effective than the sweetened stuff. I had another client take copious amounts of tea which seemed to flush him out pretty good. He was cleared in a couple of days.

Urinary tract infection is a disease which is precipitated by the infection of the urinary tract by a bacteria. The symptoms include burning sensation while urinating, severe pain in the pelvic region and continuous fever. If untreated it can cause renal damage and renal failure. Coconut water contains a lot of potassium and it is also a very good diuretic lading to an increase in the volume of urine which washes away the bacterial infection.

Hope it helps you. Good luck.

There's no need for your rudeness. I am shocked that people even bothered to respond.
