Does garlic have a sedative effect or stimulating? I've heard both.?!

Question: I know that it is very good for you, but I've also heard that the pills don't do any good. In fact, the garlic should be raw, minced and eaten after 10-15 minutes (so that it can release a certain chemical) and this is when you achieve optimal results. But I would eat a clove at bedtime, because then bad breath wouldn't matter. But I don't want it to keep me awake, if it is like caffeine or ginger.

Garlic, is neither a sedative or a stimulate, it is a natural antibiotic to the body, and it also thins the blood. It is very good for you and eating it raw and minced is the best way, and you can use the orderless garlic tablets, they work well, but not as well as the natural whole garlic. If you want to get some good sleep and want to take something to help you try a good mulit vit b complex, before you go to sleep this help to liver and helps achieve a good nights rest.

Neither,it's all about good health. The pills work but at a lesser degree. Your right about fresh, but the capsule is very good, also you can't smell them. Garlic is a good all around cure.

Both it regulates.
