What would happen if I drink water mixed with haldi(Tumeric powder)?!

Question: What are the pros and cons?

I'm bringing up this question, because i know water is excellent for the body and so is haldi for the internal body...but by drinking, will it effect me in a negative way?

side effects
It is safe in recommended doses, as a rule, but use of more than the amount your doctor suggests can cause stomach upset and other gastrointestinal problems like diarrhea and constipation. You should always inform your doctor before taking any supplements. In addition, you should let him or her know about any pre-existing conditions you may have.

For example, you should not take Turmeric if you have a bile duct blockage, a blood-clotting disorder, or a history of stomach ulcers. It can adversely affect these conditions, making them worse. In addition, you should avoid this supplement if you have gallstones or gall bladder problems. Women who are pregnant or nursing should use discretion, as the effects are unknown. If you are pregnant, you can eat Turmeric (curried) food with no problem, but supplement use has yet to be researched thoroughly.

As with any natural product, you should always take only the recommended dosages. For questions, comments, concerns, or orders, log on to http://www.tattvasherbs.com. Not a good idea as haldi does not dissolve in water, you will be able to do it in hot milk as it becomes a colloidal solution and the milk is good for your health, make sure the haldi is genuine and not containing artificial colouring agents some of which are heavy metals and toxic and poisonous, the best will be to have raw dry haldi which looks like ginger, grind it in a grinder etc., and then use it

just make your drink the color of turmeric and not very pleasant in flavor if you use too much!

According to Sant Asaram Bapa of Narmada river fame
who does satsang on Aastha and Sanskar tv has said in
his book on Aarogya that consuming good quality haldi
in two pinch quantity into one glass of warm water consumed
in the evening at 4.00 p.m. in lieu of your regular tea/coffee
is ideal way to gain health and strength. You may try this
continuously for atleast three month to see its good effect.
Good luck and God bless you. Cheers! :o)

Take only once in a day in hot water. Too much haldi will create heat in your body. Haldi is a good anti biotic and has got anti cancer quality.
