Bacon as a home remedy?!
Question: ok...I thought I'd heard it all...but a woman I work with swears by bacon!! any cut, rash, etc....anyone else heard of this?

Actually, I have heard this odd one. It was by my grandmother. She swore by it. However, who was brave enough (or daft enough?) to try it when they really needed it? Not a single person I knew! :) Personally, I'm vegetarian and would be reduced to trying morningstar farms bacon. lol
Anyway, I'm guessing that if there is any truth in it, its because the oils will coat and "sooth" the skin and the bacon will wrap around the skin to cut off air from a rash or wound.
Still.... eww.

Yep sure have. I worked in a health foods store and you would never believe the stuff ive heard. U ccan also use mustard on burns. I would think it would make it worse but nope.. it does help. My grnadmother still swears by apple cider vinegar and aloe vera.
