Anyone else had this experience with weed?!

Question: i smoked a joint of some pretty decent stuff mixed with tobacco the other day, got a bit high, not enough though in my opinion, so rather stupidly smoked some more. iv only smoked a couple of times before and never smoked tobacco, so it could be a low tolerance to either of these.

so anyways i got back to my flat (i have to smoke outside so i dont set off the fire alarms) and thought "**** i have to lie down!!"
my heart was racing and i felt dizzy. i couldnt stand up thats for sure, i think i would hav been sick. i thought my throat was closing over, and this led to me panicking a lot and me thinking i was going to have a heart attack and i convinced myself i was gona die. i had to really control my mind and think rationally to stop myself getting into a full-blown panic attack.

i managed to calm myself down but again within a few minutes i thought i was gona die again. this time by internal bleeding! it al ended in me passing out/falling asleep and waking up at 5am the next day

weed can give you anxiety, but if youve never smoked cigarettes /tobacco, then thats why! too much nicotine can make you sooooo sick. headache, severe nausea, the shakes, different people react differently. id lay off the tobacco anyways, not very good to put them togther, one after the other maybe but stick with weed next time i guarantee you wont be sick. good luck ^^

I have heard about this happening. Since weed alters your reality, it can make you paranoid to the point were you start to panic. I know people who have quit smoking weed just for that reason.

that's called drug-induced paranoia, and it's very common. there's an easy way to prevent it: don't smoke weed, dope!

Maybe you shouldn't smoke anymore. Paranoid symptoms do come from smoking. Maybe next time you should let it sink in before going to smoke more.

Oh...no, I've never thought i was gonna die, a bit paranoid, but not like you had.

Im sorry but what else did you expect from smoking weed? Me thinks that was a lesson never to be repeated dont you think?

The weed you were smoking must have been really strong and with you not been used to it must have caused this reaction. It is very common yes. The hallucinations dizziness etc.. Especially with people who have a low tolerance... I'd say if you were going to smoke (weed) again that you put less in! That's if it hasn't put you off for life!

When I was a kid a couple times I got to smoke some weed that literally knocked me down, I could not stand up.

Well there's weed and weed. Most of the time it was pretty mild.

One of the benefits of legalization would be, there would be regulation of the content, so you'd know what you were going to get.

If you've never smoked tobacco before .. I think that (nicotine)
is what caused the racing heart & dizziness. I know when I started smoking again after a10 mo. abstinence, I had the same reaction to the nicotine. It being a 'blunt'.. the tobacco is that of a cigar; much much stronger... no filter and the wrapping is a tobacco leaf.
As for the marijuana (mix)...maybe smoking it in that manner isn't for you.
(see below)

nah aint never had that happen to me u just to paranoid dawg lol ive been so high i couldent feel my face or tounge but never did that stuff idk man if i was u i wouldnt smoke if i acted like that idk man w/e floats ya boat haha pz

ya i've had a similar experience except never when i mixed tobacco and weed (but i was a cigg smoker). whenever i got to high i'd get soooo dizzy and everything and have to lie down and a few times i had to get up and let me tell you i did throw up and you probably would have to. it's always the worst the first time cause you don't know what going on with yourself so you get extra paranoid. if it keeps happening the ntry quitting for like a month or until you get the weed out of your system and then start smoking again but when you start again don't go and smoke like a blunt to the face learn your limit so you get high but without getting to high ya know

I wonder why you posted this under "Alternative Medicine"?
Sorry, I couldn't tell you. I don't smoke weed and I haven't heard any details about what it does to human body. Take care of yourself.

in england we call this a whitey its when you smoke to much of it in one go next time dont smoke so much and it will hit you more when you go in side and sit down anyway so dont smoke outside.try and smoke solid instead of green as this is not as strong or dont smoke it again as its not very good for you i gave up 8 months ago after smoking 7 joints a night and my health is much better.

marijuana can always cause panic attacks all by itself. The stimulant action of the tobacco may have added to it.
Most people who quit marijuana did so because they were sick of being paranoid all the time (and being so forgetful too). Good luck.
