Rescue remedy question?!

Question: all right so I have used rescue remedy for anxiety and it worked really well for me .but I would like to know what how exacltly it acts on the body. does it act on the neurons in the brain like ssri's or maoi's . what are it's effects on the heart lungs, liver, what changes take place in my body when I take it. I have tried the normal google wikipedia route to try and find this out but only ended up overwhelmed and baffled. so if someone could answer this for me or at least point my in the right direction that would be great. Thanks

Bach flowers fall under vibrational medicine. The energy of the flowers work on the energy of your body. It is the vibration of the essences that impart an effect on the vibration of your body. If you understand that atoms vibrate and that light vibrates, then you understand that the cells in your body vibrate too, because they are composed of H ions, Ca ions, C ions etc. By drinking BFE or putting it on your skin, your cells in your body will vibrate according to the vibration of the essence. Animals and children are great for BFE as they don't expect anything with them, it's just a drink or something annoying on their coats (unlike adults). Vibrational medicine is under a lot of scrutiny by medical associations and others, who understand the vibration of an atom but not the BFE vibration. SInce the body is individually composed of these ions, the brain will vibrate accordingly to the BFE and inhibit or excite stimulation of the appropriate parts of the brain to exert an effect on other parts of the body.

The flower essences (RR is a combination of five of the Bach 38 essences) are energetic in nature and have no effect on the physical body. Not entirely true as the pain reduction in RR is noticeable because by reducing anxiety you can also break into the cycle of pain-anxiety.

You do not have to INGEST the RR or any other flower essence. Just shake the bottle well and put some drops on your skin. I put it on the fur of my cats for instance.

If you are in a very anxious state of mind you can put a couple of droppersful in an 8 oz bottle of filtered water and sip that throughout the day.

I was using clonazepam but I felt like it was making me the dumbest person in the world.

I like the essential oils. Lavander is supposed to be calming. Meditation helps. But really who has time to do that during the day? Dr. John Kabott Zin has an audio book called Mindfulness In Meditation (I think). Anxiety sucks. I feel like I am just gonna be stuck with it.

Oh, another downfall of the anti-anxiety meds...they are libido killers :(

But such is life when you get old I guess.
