Explain the oriental concept of ying & yang in aromatherapy?!

There is always a conflict between the two to create a balance. Example would be hot & cold to produce a warm or nutrual effect. Sweet and sour to produce a balance bewteen the two.
If either side is out of balance there is no longer the circle in which ying & yang can be harmonist.
The same applies to aromatherapy. Where one scent is over powering thier is no balance. If using to treat a condiction, you must first determ what the underling condiction is related to. Example heat sickness, or cold , dampness or dryness. then you would search out the scent that counters this and apply it as needed.
