Answers: What is the difference bewteen the unconscious mind & the unconsciousness?
this is a question on my aromatherapy course,

Unconcious mind relates to automatic responses, such as breathing, attraction etc.Unconciousness is the physical state of not being conscious- such as trauma, collapse etc. That is my interpretation. Hope that helps.

Personally i would say that an unconscious mind is when you are totally relaxed say in like under hypnosis and the other one is when your out cold.

the unconscious mind lets you catch a baseball without thinking where to put your hand or any of the physics involved.

unconsciousness is asleep or very clsoe to it. Unaware of your surroundings.

unconscious mind is where you are in a relaxes state (sleep for example) or day dreaming and you are aware of what is going on around you and you come to quickly whereas unconsciousness is where you many have sustained a blow to the head and you know nothing, like a coma.
People have been in a coma for years and when they come too they believe they are still in the same era when they went under.

Joanne W has it spot on!

Mind is 1] conscious mind 2] sub-conscious mind , and 3]unconscious mind.
The unconscious mind does not remain idle.
Unconsciousness is not being able to feel

unconscious mind is from the sub conscious !! lots of information are stocked in the subconscious part of our brain, and we don't recall it, but informations get out of that part of the brain when some thing important happen !! "unconsciousness :loss of mental statue !!
