Does St. Johns Wort work?!

Question: What's your experience of it? If it works, how quick?

Answers: What's your experience of it? If it works, how quick?

Yes it does.
I find it ironic that the medical establishment claims it does not, says it's pointless, but then says under no circumstances should one consume St. John's Wort in any form while taking a prescription antidepressant, because of possible overdose.

It does not work quickly, but you should feel some relief in eight to ten days. Also, make sure you're getting enough B vitamins. Depression is often just a B-12 deficiency.

Peace.

Depends on how much you pay it,

i swear by it.........and i never would have believed it, it takes a while to get used to it, give it like a month, it really takes the edge off of feeling down and irritable...............plus its really cheap relatively speaking, just buy a bottle and try it for a month dude, i swear it works................

Not for me. Give it at least a month.

I've heard that it does work really well but it can affect other medication such as the pill.

Yes it works, it takes about a month to get into your system but beware it reacts with nearly every medication on the planet. I came of it as i was told if you were in an accident , taken to hospital and given medication ,and they didn't know what you were on , you could die or be seriously ill .
Think carefully please

I assume you are refering to brain function and/or depression. It works for many people, but slowly.

The brand you choose is important. I recommend a visit to NutritionalTree.com, which is an unbiased resource for these kinds of products. You can see what people are actually saying about different brands.
