Where can I get some ELMA cream?!
Question: I have to get a shot soon and I want the area numb so I have heard that ELMA cream will do that. If you know please answer. I am such a baby when it comes to pain.

you realize that you're manifesting the shot to be more than it really is, right?!!? It's a shot!! It takes 2 seconds! As for this numbing cream, how do you know it won't have some bad effect on you?!?! How do you know it won't work?!!? Just relax your arm or hip, let all the muscles relax and let it just hang. If it's in your butt (hip) then stand on the other foot and literally let that leg hang, I guarantee that the pain you'll feel is the soreness the next day, but the actual shot won't hurt!! You have an entire lifetime of shots ahead of you, don't you think it's time to stop being a baby? My 20 month old takes shots better than that, and she gets them in her THIGHS!!!
It used to be available only by prescription. I used it during electrolysis. I have not seen it available over the counter yet.
