The gas is actually from yeast. The day you don't take it the yeast is reacting. It isn't a bad thing, but you will notice it since the probiotics are keeping yeast in balance when you do take them.

I understand the hard to take in the morning part - same here. I get them about 50% of the time. It is hard to remember. My husband helps, he's a morning person. Another way to add probiotics to your day that is easier is Kefir. I've been doing that. I like it with granola for a snack or breakfast. It has more probiotics than yogurt, less than a pill, but I can remember it!!

It is not a reaction to the probiotics, it is a reaction to not taking the probiotics. The days you remember to take them you aren't as gassy. Make sense?

Probiotics doesnt cause any side effects. they are dietery supplemets body is not dependent on them. They are used to help digestive system.

Try to take them regularly. But I dont see if you dont take them you will have any side effects.

Yes that is normal. You might want to try drinking half your body weight in Ozs of purified water every day. Chronic dehydration allows intestinal gasses to build up and causes many intestinal diseases.

Yes it is. If you are off antibiotics, please try going off the probiotic for a week and seeing what happens. If you indeed need that bacteria, you will know it soon enough. If so, take a probiotic regularly.

Also, research any brands you take before buying. There is a lot of variance in quality in probiotics. I would recommend a visit to a review site like http://www.nutritionaltree.com.
