Theraflu and mucinex?!
Question: if you take these two at the same time to get some sort of relief from a bad cold, will you get any problems from mixing drugs?

Read the ingredients to make sure you are not double dosing yourself with the same medications .Mucinex is an expectorant, to keep your chest clear of congestion, use it if you have a cough, especially if your coughing stuff up. There is also a Mucinex DM that will also help with sinus symptoms, such as a stuffy or runny nose. I would not be mixing medication without checking out the labels. You can always ask the Pharmacist at your local drug store, they know all about mixing drugs Be sure to drink plenty of fluids, that helps flush that crap out of your system! I hope your feel better soon!
what are your symptoms. without knowing it is hard to say what kind of meds you should take. theraflu sux. there are much better meds out there.
Read the packaging and make sure both of them aren't treating the same symptoms or else you'll get too much medicine in you.
When my son and I were sick with bronchitis, we took plain mucinex, claritin, lots of green tea and white tea with lemon and honey, spoonfuls of (buckwheat)honey to help relieve the cough, soups and tons of water and also used vick's vaporrub on our chests
