Asthma attacks caused by computers????!

Question: When I use my computer I seemingly have more trouble with my asthma - quite a bit more.

I read Kevin Trudeau's book and he says that electromagnetic chaos causes all kinds of health problems.

I'm currently on disability but I've worked on computers all my adult life, and I'm looking at whether I need to change careers when I go back to work. I seem to have a great deal of trouble usi ng the computer, but it's my link to the outside world.. in so many ways.

ideas?

I even go into sneezing fits when I'm on a computer,a nd it doesn't matter if I'm home or at the library or wherever, there's a computer in the doctors office, I used it and then started again.. somethings' going on..

I ordered a qlink - and maybe that will help - I don't have it yet.

This puts me in a situation where all I know how to do for a living is computer work, and I need to decide where to go from here... thanks

I've just sat here for only a few minutes typing this and I'm having trouble.

dude clean your computer out , lmfao take off the cover and youll see why you have asthma attacks

I've never heard of electromagnetic causes causes like that. I have asthma and work on a computer every day. It doesn't give me attacks. I would suspect dust. Dust definitely can get trapped in your keyboard and inside your actual PC box and is a proven asthma trigger. They have specific cleaners for cleaning the dust out of computers. Unscrew your PC box and dust inside of there as well as your keyboard (or perhaps have someone else do this for you since your asthma sounds severe). The only other reason I can think would be if whatever you're doing on your computer is causing stress. Stress is a definite asthma trigger.

Hi 'on the move'. Yes, your computer has the potential to aggravate your asthma. However, it is likely the out-gassing of chemicals from the plastics is the problem (not the electromagnetic field).

An obvious 'test' of the chemical out-gassing vs. electromagnetic field theories is time. If your asthma is immediately aggravated when you turn on the computer, then the immediate production of the electromagnetic field might be the cause. However, if it takes a little time (as the plastics heat up) for your asthma symptoms to become aggravated, then it is more likely chemical out-gassing.

You can use a silk mask (designed for asthmatics (NOT a surgical mask) to help protect your lungs from the out-gassing. These masks are very comfortable and easy to wear/use. I personally use the "I can breathe again" mask available from a wonderful company called NEEDS at needs.com.

Best wishes and good luck.

You could always move the computer farther from your keyboard, mouse and screen. You might consider using a laptop to see if that makes any difference.

But, I think that your asthma attacks might be more of not moving around than anything to do with the computer. I don't know if there's a correlation between sitting still and asthma but it makes just about of as much sense as a computer's electromagnetic field triggering an attack.

Yes it could aggravate your breathing. I also have Kevin Trudeau's books and I agree with what he says. Not only could EMF disrupted it, but to much positive ions coming from the screen can make it harder to breath to, you might want to get a negative ion generator and put it next to you when your on the computer. Thats great you bought a Qlink, that takes care of one potential cause. Also do you have a land line for internet or WiFi, WiFi produces more EMF then computer screens, if its right next to the computer then that will for sure contribute. They sell non EMF computer screens if you need it because you have to use a computer for a living, its the same screens NASA uses, they cost more money but its worth it.

Here is a link for a high quality negative ionizers.

simply read this book --- eat right for your blood type -- from
dr. Peter D. D`adamo. and the one from Kevin trudeau. i no longer have asthma and any other problems i had too.

I don't know about a qlink .. but some say it helped them.

The fans cause quite a bit of dust to spin up. And the noise can be distressing. that is why I like the idea of small, fanless computers, that can be located in a drawer or father away. and the power brick can be on the ground.

Laptops and LCD screens also have less EMF .. you could give them a try. Also regular screens are hard to read and could be stressing you. So try a regular computer with an LCD.

could be what you are reading is stressing you.

good luck.
