Has anyone ever heard of using Alum as a sex aid?!
Question: I heard that you are supposed to put it in bath water and soak in it to "tighten" things down there. It used to be done after someone had a baby. I don't think many people do it now.

i have not i know it is used in making homemade pickels it gives them the crispness but i would definately not use unless i researched it ok? good luck! take care!
a form of Alum called saltpeter was thought to reduce or illiminate erections. Don't know if that one is an old wives tale or not.
Alum is a double sulphate of aluminum and is really not good to digest anymore. My grandmother used in canning pickles years ago, but not they do not recommend it. I would not think it would be good for you for any reason now.

It's good for a trip to the emergency room. A silly woman at work gave her boy alum to drink for indigestion or constipation, I forget which. Caused him to have appendicitis and a trip to the hospital.
